Since Makayla was a child she had dreamed of owning a small farm influenced by her grandparents. She had a vision of being an entrepreneur that would incorporate her own farm. During her late teen years, she met her fiance Michael and started working towards her life long dream. Makayla was hired at a vet clinic at 18 years old. She started petsitting for clients in her home or at theirs. At 22 and 19, Michael and Makayla purchased 12 acres in Covington, GA. They have two black dogs named Hank and Jaxx. She attended a local college and pursued her business degree in 2017. June 2019, Michael and Makayla gave birth to their son, Henry. Makayla decided to be a stay at home mom. She knew this would be the perfect opportunity to start her dream career. Currently, Frechette Farmstead offers petsitting in your home (depending on location) or at the farm, dog bathing services and doggy daycare. Makayla is comfortable administering medications, fluids, wheelchair/elderly patients. She enjoys providing pets with a safe enjoyable vacation. She hopes Frechette Farmstead continues to grow.
